Music @ St. A’s

Welcome to St. A’s music ministry! In the Episcopal Church, music plays a vital role in our worship and common life. Our music, both instrumental and vocal, combine to articulate the mystery of faith in our tradition and in our lives in styles ranging from the ancient to the contemporary. At St. A’s, we use music to lift the spiritual message of the day, highlight the talents of our congregation, and bring the congregation closer together in fellowship. Whether through congregational singing, joining our choir, or participating in special music offerings, there are many ways to get involved in music at St. A’s.

Choir

Our choir rehearses weekly on Wednesdays from 7-8:30 from September-May. We share our music with the congregation during the 10am services on Sundays. If you’re interested in joining the choir, please fill out the Choir Interest Form (click here) or contact Jason Handy at music@stacroton.org

Special music

Special music offerings occur throughout the year. These include can solos from members of the congregation, community members, and professional musicians. If you’re interested in offering special music, please contact Jason Handy at music@stacroton.org.

Congregational singing

We lift our voices in song during the 10am service using the 1982 Hymnal, Lift Every Voice and Sing II,  and special inserts in our bulletin. All are welcome to sing!
