Worship – Volunteering

Do you sing, play the guitar or the violin, either solo or in a group? We would like to showcase your talents! St A’s has music at both of our Sunday services.  The Choir sings at the 9 AM service, and other musicians provide direction at the 10:30 AM Service.  This is a special opportunity for parishioners to showcase their talents by singing and/or playing as an important contribution to our worship program.  Please contact our organist and musical director, Laura Ravotti, at(914) 736-9015, see her after service. In addition,we are looking for new choir members for our 9 am choir – so anyone interested in participating in this way should also contact Laura.

We are recruiting new members for all the crucial worship teams that help make our services happen. Please consider volunteering to join any of these important ministries: Altar Guild, Choir, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Ushers, Acolytes and Crucifers, and Babysitters. We can’t make it happen without you!

Eucharistic Ministers – Are you interested in helping our liturgical life? We are in need of a few more Eucharistic Ministers. Eucharistic Ministers read, lead the prayers, and lead the psalms at Saturday and Sunday services. They also assist at Communion. Middle and high schoolers can also participate. If you are interested in helping with this vital role, please contact the Parish Office.
